Preparing for Life, Work, and Independence.

Currently Enrolling

Our STEP Program is designed for adults (18+) who are preparing for community-based employment and greater independence.

Through a structured, supportive approach, participants build the confidence and practical skills needed to succeed in real-world settings, at their own pace.

44-Week Skill Development Curriculum

Each week focuses on essential life and workplace skills, including:

  • Communication & self-advocacy
  • Routine & responsibility
  • Emotional regulation
  • Workplace readiness
  • Citizenship and community awareness

Learning is reinforced through visual supports, hands-on activities, role play, and personalized guidance.

Avondale’s STEP program has had a significant positive impact on my brother’s development ... In a short period of time, he has made noticeable progress in both his daily functioning and his confidence. We are grateful to have found a program that equips him with practical life skills and helps him work toward greater independence.
